Baptisms

The parish baptisms are held on the first Saturday and last Sunday of each month at 12.30pm. Prior booking with the Parish Office is essential. Please provide a copy of the child’s civil birth certificate when making the booking. If the parents are not resident within Beechwood Avenue parish then we will also need a letter of consent from the parish of residence.

Please also note that godparents must be over 16 years of age, must have been confirmed and must be practising Catholics.

Weddings

Weddings are strictly by appointment with the Parish Priest. No booking will be accepted for a wedding until the couple intending to get married have spoken in person with the Parish Priest. A minimum of 3 months notice is required for all marriages in the Dublin diocese.

Confirmation

Confirmation takes place for Scoil Bride, Lios Na N’og & Sandford Parish  National School by arrangement each year. 

First Eucharist

Sandford Parish National School, Lios Na N’Og, and Scoil Bride follow the* Do This In Memory of Me *programme, attending monthly Mass with the necessary preparation. Sandford Parish National School attends at 11.30 am Sunday Mass, and Lios Na N’Og and  Scoil Bride attend at 10am Irish Mass.

First Eucharist takes place during Sunday Mass over three Sundays in May each year. 

Penance

At Christmas and Easter Rite 2 of the Rite of reconciliation takes place and weekly confessions take place after Saturday Morning Mass and before Saturday evening Mass and by request.

Anointing

Takes place monthly after 10 am Mass and on First Friday with housebound where priest attends.
